If you are creating an event, you can either create one using a pre-defined template or on the fly. A template helps you to pre-populate typical roles, times, and possibly volunteers for a type of event so that you have a head start in the planning process.

The example to the right shows you the top page of an existing event. You can see basic information associated with the event, including some statistics on the number of volunteers needed and identified.

Events

As you scroll further down the Event page, you will see the details of each defined role.

If the event planner has assigned a role, or if the volunteer signed up for the event and role, it would look similar to the highlighted example to the left (in the green box).

<- Here the volunteer was assigned.

The volunteer or the planner can confirm the volunteer has accepted the event/role.

You also have the option to send a reminder message by clicking one button.

Finally, if the volunteer cannot fill the role, they can be unassigned.
